Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis)
A graceful, drought-tolerant flowering tree native to the Southwest, Desert Willow brings long-lasting beauty with minimal water. Its airy canopy and narrow leaves give it a soft, willow-like appearance, while trumpet-shaped blooms in shades of pink, lavender, or white appear from late spring through summer. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, it thrives in heat and poor soils and performs beautifully in Texas landscapes, xeriscapes, and urban gardens.

Mature size: typically 15–30 feet tall and 15–25 feet wide, with an open, multi-trunk form that provides light, filtered shade.
